Mental Health Services
Consultation and Education
Education, training and consultation on a variety of behavioral health topics.
Outpatient
Individual, marital, couples, family psychotherapy and counseling; group therapy; psychological testing; psychiatric consults, evaluations and medication monitoring
Senior Guidance Program
Serves persons age 60 and over, or persons concerned with aging and retirement issues. Services include individual and group therapy, psychiatric assessment, community education and consultation. A Peer Mentoring Program is also offered.
Family Support Program
Accepts referrals only from the NJ Division of Youth and Family Services. Provides intensive individual and family therapy both in our offices and off-site. Children served have been abused or neglected and are living in either their own homes or foster homes.
Adult Partial Care Services
Intensive short term to extended treatment is available, based on individual client need. Both day and evening programs are offered.
S.A.I.L.
A partial care program for severely emotionally disturbed youth, ages 12 to 18, who are at risk for out-of home placement.
Residential Services
- Fresh Start Group Home - a 7 bed group home for adults who have been discharged from state psychiatric facilities.
- MICA Group Home - a 5 bed residence for adult mentally ill chemical abusers.
- Apartment Program - semi-supervised apartments for clients of our adult partial care programs.
- Supported Housing helps seriously mentally ill adults establish and maintain permanent housing in the community. Services and support provided are permanent, individualized and based on the level of need of each participant.
- Medical Group Home - a 5-bed facility for adults with mental illness and concurrent medical problems.
- Level A - 12 to 24 hour supervised apartments for adults with mental illness.
Integrated Case Management
Intensive, aggressive outreach to provide advocacy, linkage and support to clients discharged from State psychiatric hospitals. Clients are eligible for 18 months of service.
Homeless Program
For clients 18 years or older who are presently homeless or facing precipitous homelessness; are or appear to be psychiatrically disabled; and have multiple concrete service needs. The program provides aggressive outreach services to link clients who are in need of mental health and non-mental health services.
Preferred Employment Services
This is a supported employment service which is designed to empower mental health consumers (age 18-64) to improve their quality of life by providing career development opportunities and work supports that assist them in securing and maintaining a chosen job.
