Substance Abuse Services

Evaluation

Individual substance abuse evaluations provided for Criminal Justice, Schools, Child Protective Services.

Counseling

Individual, group family & couples assessment, treatment, and recovery services to individuals and their families.

HIV Service

On-site pre and post test counseling and testing. HIV management to individuals and families as needed.

Intensive Outpatient (Directions)

6 week program of group therapy, education services, family therapy and education and support group for adult clients who require a structured and intense level of care. Treatment is based on bio-psycho-social history, medical assessment and an individualized plan. Services are administered by a multidisciplinary team of social workers and addiction professional. Programs are located in both southern and northern Ocean County.

Intensive Outpatient (RIPTIDE)

Academic education, family and individual counseling and aftercare services. Reaching Individual Potential Through Increasing Drug and Alcohol Education is designed to meet the unique needs of adolescents and to enhance and improve the quality of their life. Treatment is provided by Licensed Teachers, Social Workers and CADC Staff.

Work First Substance Abuse Initiative
New Jersey Site for Level I, II and II.5.

The WFNJ SAI is an effort to address the needs of WFNJ recipients who are abusing drugs and alcohol to the extent that they are unable to take advantage of work and work readiness activities.

South Jersey Initiative (SJI)
Ocean County Site for Level I, II and II.5

The SJI is a continuum of substance abuse treatment targeted to indigent individuals between the ages of 13 and 24.

Co-occurring Partial Care (Level II.5)

This is a partial care program for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders

WARN (Women Achieving Recovery Now)

Outpatient individual, group and Intensive Outpatient Program services for women. Childcare, transportation and other support services are available to reduce barriers to treatment.

Intervention Programs

The Child Protection Substance Abuse Initiative (CPSAI)

The CPSAI provides a comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessment to determine the appropriate level of care. This unique program provides staffing at each DYFS office in 11 counties (Ocean, Monmouth, Somerset, Hunterdon, Mercer, Hudson, Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Sussex, Warren)

Intoxicated Driver Resource Program

The intoxicated Driver Resource Center Program services those individuals who have received a DWI arrest. Evaluations and a 16-week program are available.
