Employee Assistance Program Summary
PBH Consulting Group’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) has been providing quality services to many of Ocean County’s principal companies and organizations for almost three decades. An EAP is a benefit from the employer designed to assist employees with difficulties or issues. Employees receive a select number of confidential counseling/consultation sessions to address their concerns, and can access EAP appointments quickly and confidentially.
Experienced, licensed and credentialed clinicians, with a variety of clinical specialties are available to address the employees’ needs, including but not limited to; mood or stress problems, marital or family concerns, drug and/or alcohol assessments and substance abuse treatment, grief or trauma issues, crisis intervention, disaster response, behavioral concerns, and workplace-related problems.
Services can include:
- Professional Evaluation and Consultation for employees (and their family members if included in plan)
- Brief Therapy/Problem-solving
- Referral to other treatment professionals, levels of care, and/or wellness and educational resources, or legal, financial or eldercare resources
- Case Management to follow-up on referred employees when needed
- Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) evaluations, for employees under DOT regulations
- Critical Incident Response(CIR) or Crisis Intervention in emergency situations
- Specialty employee assessments correlated to the workplace
- Training Seminars for supervisors and employees
- Management/Supervisory Consultations, detailing how to deal with or refer a problem employee, as well as follow-up after a Supervisory Referral
- Mediation/Conflict Resolution Consultations between employees, or employee and supervisor
- Employee awareness handouts, cards, posters, payroll inserts
- Policy and Procedure Development and Utilization Reports
