Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Support Program
This program provides outreach and referral services to individuals needing assistance with childcare, utility assistance, child support, NJ Cares for Kids, Medicaid, Food Stamps, transportation and counseling.
Supplemental work support is now being offered to individuals who would like to eventually get off cash benefits.
Supportive Assistance to Individuals and Families (SAIF) is a new program designed to assist with cash benefits and support services, if the consumer has exceeded the 60 month time limit.
Supported Employment Services (SES)
The primary focus is to assist consumers who are Ocean County residents with chronic mental illness in choosing, getting, or keeping a job. Career services helps people by teaching them the necessary skills to obtain an education and employment. This has enriched their lives and made them independent and fulfilled.

Learning Enhancement and Resource Network (LEARN)
- Academic Counseling

- Negotiate former student loans and possible loan forgiveness
- Assistance in managing disclosure
- Skill development
- Linkages to peer support groups
- Exploration of transportation options
- Career exploration
- Interest inventory testing
