Summary of Position:
The Counselor Aide is a full time position with CPSAI in the Somerset County DCPP office located in Somerset, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of the referral process, including documenting receipt of referral and having the Assessment Counselor sign and schedule the appointment.
- Complete all assigned tasks within a prescribed time frame.
- Conduct home visits as needed and complete chain of custody drug screens
- Transport clients as instructed and responsible for maintaining the vehicle..
Competencies:
- Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrates empathy and compassion
- Knowledge of addictions preferred
Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED.
- Valid current NJ Driver’s License in good standing.
