Preferred Behavioral Health Group Welcomes Dr. Adam Sagot as Chief Medical Officer

We are excited to announce that Dr. Adam Sagot has joined Preferred Behavioral Health Group (PBHG) as our new Chief Medical Officer — marking a significant step forward in our mission to expand access to compassionate, trauma-informed behavioral health care.

Dr. Sagot brings extensive experience in psychiatric care, clinical innovation, and health equity. As a recognized leader in the field, he will oversee PBHG’s medical strategy, clinical quality, and the integration of evidence-based practices across all service lines. His expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and substance use treatment will further strengthen our commitment to delivering the highest standard of care across New Jersey.

Dr. Sagot previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Summit Oaks Hospital and is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Rutgers University’s Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is board-certified in multiple psychiatric specialties and brings a wealth of experience and passion to our organization.
