Our Bullying and Violence Prevention services in Monmouth County go beyond reactive discipline — we focus on building empathy, strengthening peer connection, and equipping students with the communication and conflict-resolution skills needed to navigate today’s social and digital challenges.
Tier 1: Universal Prevention Educational Workshops Pre-K – Grade 12
Broad-reaching initiatives delivered in schools or community settings via classroom presentations, workshops, webinars, small group assemblies, and professional development.
Note on Customization: The list below represents our core units. We work closely with school administrators to adapt each lesson to fit your specific school culture.

- Emotional Awareness & Self-Regulation: Naming feelings, understanding emotional triggers, and using coping strategies and calming techniques.
- Safety, Reporting & School Culture: How to report bullying, bystander vs. upstander roles, contributing to a respectful classroom, and creating a culture of safety and respect.
Middle & High School (6-12):
- Empathy, Inclusion & Personal Responsibility: Recognizing and respecting differences, practicing empathy, building a growth mindset, and being a positive leader.
- Digital Citizenship: A serious look at the real-world consequences of online harassment and digital footprints.
- Healthy Communication & Relationships: Active listening, setting and respecting boundaries, assertive communication, and recognizing healthy versus unhealthy relationships.
Parents/Caregivers & School Staff:
- Step Up — A Guide to Ending Harassment, Intimidation & Bullying (HIB) Insights: Learn practical tools to address bullying, build empathy, and foster safe, supportive environments.
- Unlocking the Secrets of Online Safety: A session for caregivers and community members to understand social media, safeguard privacy, and create open dialogue around online behavior and safety.
Tier 2: Evidence-Based Targeted Prevention InterventionsMiddle & High School
Multi-session evidence-based programs delivered to students in small groups.

Too Good For Violence:
- Provides students with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes they need for positive social development and supportive relationships.
Safe Dates — Healthy Relationships
- A skills-based curriculum aimed at challenging the attitudes and behaviors shown through research to predict dating abuse.
Coaching Boys Into Men:
- An evidence-based violence prevention program that trains and motivates high school coaches to teach their young male athletes healthy relationship skills, mental health practices, and that violence never equals strength.
Tier 3: Non-Crisis Brief Clinical Assessment and Intervention Middle & High School
Individualized and/or small-group clinical intervention for students.
Service Focus
Restorative Interventions:
- Brief clinical one-on-one sessions to assist victims in processing the incident and offenders in understanding their impact.
Safety Planning:
- Collaborative development of a plan to ensure a student feels safe in their current environment.
Clinical Referrals:
- Intentional linkage to community resources to ensure continuity of care beyond the initial interventions.
