Understanding boundaries, consent, and healthy communication is essential for young people as they navigate adolescence. NJ4S COMPASS – Monmouth offers developmentally appropriate, inclusive programming that helps students develop the self-respect and social skills necessary for healthy relationships. We provide a safe environment for students to ask questions and learn how to protect their physical and emotional well-being.
Tier 1: Universal Prevention Educational Workshops Pre-K – Grade 12
Inclusive education delivered in schools or community settings via classroom presentations, workshops, webinars, small group assemblies, and professional development.
Note on Customization: The list below represents our core units. We work closely with school administrators to adapt each lesson to fit your specific school culture.
Sample Service Offerings:
Elementary (K-5):
- Personal Boundaries: Age-appropriate lessons on personal space and the right to say “no.”
Middle & High School (6-12):
- Healthy Relationships & Dating Violence Prevention: Curriculum (such as Safe Dates) that helps students identify red flags and controlling behaviors.
- Consent & Boundaries: Honest discussions about what consent looks like and how to communicate boundaries clearly.
- Contraception & STI Prevention: Comprehensive education on risk reduction and protection methods.
Parent/Caregivers & School Staff:

Tier 2: Evidence-Based Targeted Prevention Interventions Middle & High School
Multi-session evidence-based programs delivered to students in small groups.

- Evidence-based program providing youth with relationship skills for love, life, and work. Includes content on sex trafficking prevention, technology in relationships, navigating relationships in the digital age, adult-oriented online content and apps, sexual assault, and consent — and their impact on relationships
Tier 3: Non-Crisis Brief Clinical Assessment and InterventionMiddle & High School
Individualized clinical support for students navigating complex relationship dynamics, identity, or trauma.

Trauma-Informed Support:
- Brief clinical interventions for students impacted by abusive relationships, dating violence, and sexual identity-related distress.
