Tier 1: Universal Prevention Pre-K – Grade 12
Universal support delivered through school-wide assemblies, classroom workshops, and webinars.

Middle & High School (6-12):
- Cannabis: The Facts: Evidence-based info on health risks and laws.
- Escape the Vape / Don’t Get Vaped In: Realities of nicotine addiction and marketing.
- Mind Matters: How drugs affect the body and brain.
Adults in Education:
- Substance Use Education: Workshops for parents/staff to spot early warning signs.
Tier 2: Targeted Prevention Middle & High School
Targeted evidence-based small group interventions for students identified as “at-risk.”

- A 10-session curriculum developing refusal skills.
Teen Intervene:
- Brief intervention for teens with mild/moderate substance use issues.
The Smart Talk:
- Aims to change adolescents’ attitudes and misconceptions about cannabis through engaging activities and resources.
Tier 3: Assessment & Brief Clinical Intervention
Individualized clinical support for students found in possession of substances or struggling with dependency.
Service Focus:
Substance Use Assessment:
- Determining the severity of use and identifying co-occurring mental health concerns.
Family Support:
- Guiding parents and caregivers through the treatment navigation process.
Treatment Linkage:
- Direct referrals to substance use disorder (SUD) outpatient programs.
